Metallurgy

Postby sci_fi » Thu Sep 04, 2014 11:02 am

When I was a student at Uni in the '70s, Metallurgy was going to be the big thing in world knowledge and advancement of science.
What happened?
I have not heard the word since.
Did science just "move on" or did Info. Tech. age bypass it.

Are there any trained metal-type people around?
